About The Signalman
A haunting short story written in 1866, The Signalman tells the story of a railway worker tormented by mysterious apparitions that appear to warn of impending tragedy. Set in a lonely tunnel cutting beside a tunnel, the tale unfolds through the eyes of an unnamed narrator as the signalman desperately tries to understand the chilling visions that precede each disaster.
