Your tour will take place in the 82-year-old Deep Tunnel Shelters, with our experienced guides who will explain the origins, construction and use of the system, highlighting the significant role the shelters played in protecting the inhabitants of Ramsgate during the Second World War.
Due to the uneven and occasionally rough nature of the tunnel floor, sensible shoes should be worn for the ½ mile underground tour, with warm clothing strongly encouraged as the temperature remains at a constant 11ºc.
Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. If purchasing a Carers ticket you must present proof of your status when you check in otherwise you may be charged full price.
