What should I wear?
The Tunnel floor you encounter during the tour is original and can be uneven and occasionally rough. Flat, sensible shoes should be worn for the ½ mile underground tour, with warm clothing strongly encouraged as the temperature remains at a constant 11ºc.

When should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour departs, 30 minutes if you wish to visit the museum.

Please be respectful to other visitors by arriving on time for the start of your tour. Please note that tickets are non-transferable, if you miss your timed tour no refunds will be given.

Do you have parking?
We do not have on site parking. There is a council pay and display car park adjacent to the tunnel entrance, we advise you to download the RingGo app before arrival, although there may be free parking available on the cliff top nearby. Please allow 2 hours parking for your visit to the Tunnels.

Are there public toilets on site?
There are no public toilets available within the tunnels although the Bathing Station public toilets are located a short distance, 46 metres (50 yards) from the tunnel entrance. These toilets have a RADAR key facility. If this toilet is closed then the nearest public and RADAR toilet is at the eastern end of the harbour, outside The Victoria Pavilion Wetherspoons pub approximately 200 yards (183 metres) from the Tunnel entrance.
