Walking Tour of the Dunkirk Little Ships
About
Join us for a rare chance to step close to a selection of historic Dunkirk Little Ships, as we partner with the Association of Dunkirk Little Ships to offer a unique, free, guided walking tour.
These extraordinary vessels are in Ramsgate Harbour for the 86th Anniversary of Operation Dynamo — the rescue that turned a devastating retreat into a story of remarkable courage. Usually only glimpsed as they sail past, this is your opportunity to see them up close.
Led by Kevin Finn, former Commodore of the ADLS, local resident, and owner of Brown Owl, this 30‑minute tour offers:
- A compelling historical overview of the Little Ships during and after Operation Dynamo
- Stories of bravery, survival, and restoration
- The chance to speak with the dedicated owners who preserve these vessels today
Meeting Point
Please meet at the Dunkirk Memorial at Pier Yard. The tour will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Late entry is not permitted.
