Celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE day with Ramsgate Tunnels on the 8th of May 2025.

We are delighted to have the amazing Hullabaloo playing at Ramsgate Tunnels to commemorate this significant event in our country’s history. Hullabaloo are a local Kent based popular band that will get you in the mood to dance and enjoy the festive atmosphere of the evening. This event is a ticketed event with tickets priced at £15.00 per person. We are open from 7.30pm with live music from approximately 8.15pm. Music will continue after the beacon lighting until approximately 10.30pm

We encourage you to bring your nibbles along to celebrate with friends and family alike and there will be a small bar available on site. Tickets are available at £15 pp

Additionally, Ramsgate Town Council will be lighting the town beacon at 9.30pm on the sands outside Ramsgate Tunnels and The Ramsgate Mayor will read the tribute during this countrywide ceremony. The beacon lighting is a free event, but to enjoy the atmosphere inside the tunnels you must purchase a ticket.

Please do not forget that Ramsgate Tunnels is at a constant temperature all year round of 9-11 degrees Celsius, so please dress for the temperature although layers are encouraged as we hope to see you dancing in the tunnels enjoying the party just as they would have done during the war years!
