Tunnel Town Explorer Tour
Your tour will take place in the 150-year-old Victorian Railway Tunnel. During your tour you will hear how the railways shaped the history of the town, transforming a fishing community into a thriving coastal resort, before providing accommodation for those who lost their homes during the Second World War, forming a town below the town.
Due to the uneven and occasionally rough nature of the tunnel floor, it is your responsibility for the safety of small children and those unsteady on their feet within your party. Unfortunately, we are not able to admit wheelchairs, prams, or buggies on this tour. Warm clothing is strongly encouraged as the tunnel network remains at a constant 11ºc.
Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. If purchasing a Carers ticket you must present proof of your status when you check in otherwise you may be charged full price.
